Simply Believe

In Mattityahu (Matthew) 19.26 Yeshua told his talmidim, “”With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  I believe this is a word to encourage us in the midst of the challenges of life.  Sometimes our circumstances can seem so overwhelming and in the natural we cannot see how thing could improve or change.  We don’t have the means or knowledge to bring about improvement.  When we look to others for help, they are not able to give us what we are longing for either.  It can be devastating and we can feel trapped in the situation we find ourselves in with no hope of immediate release or help
Yet, I believe G-d would challenge us to let faith rise in our hearts because He can do the impossible.  Humanly speaking, there may be no way that the situation can change or improve, but G-d is not a human being.  Maybe it is your health, finances, a relationship, emotional distress, etc., that has you concerned. He is the Creator of the Heavens and Earth.  He spoke and the world came into existence.  Whatever it is that you or I may be facing, He certainly is able to change things.

While many of us may intellectually and theologically believe this to be truth, we can struggle with the personal application of this in our lives.  Adonai is calling us to understand in our heart of hearts that He is for us and not against us.  He delights to work His miracles for His children and to make Himself known among the peoples of the earth.  He is simply looking for people who will dare to believe Him.  The challenge as we begin this new week is simply this – Will you believe?  Will you trust that He can do the impossible in your life?  There are many miracles waiting to be manifested in our lives – we need to activate them by simply believing in the G-d of Miracles.  Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Shalom,
