Elul begins next week on A ugust 23. This month leads us into the High Holy Days and is traditionally a time of spiritual preparation. The name is considered to be an acronym for Anee L’Dodi v’dodee lee. “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” This is thought by the sages to summarize the relationship between Adonai and His people. The heart of G-d is for each person to receive His love and to walk in close communion with Him. We want to encourage you to set aside extra time to seek G-d as you prepare for the upcoming High Holy Days. It is also a time for us to pray for others.
We have put together a prayer guide for you to use during this month. You can easily download it below.
