Dor L’Dor Shabbat School

Our Dor L’Dor Shabbat School ministers to children from first grade until they turn 13. Dor L’Dor means Generation to Generation. It is our desire to instill in the next generation a passion for Adonai and for their Jewish heritage. Our Shabbat school meets on Saturday mornings from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM. Each week the children are taught from the parsha of the week. Our curriculum is set up so that each year the children are learning from one of the seven aliyot of the parsha. Each lesson incorporates teachings from the New Covenant as well.

We have different stations that the children participate in each week from our opening worship time, to memory verse study, Bible story time and crafts. Each station gives your child the opportunity to learn the Bible truth of the week in a fun and exciting way. The children are encouraged to apply the word in their lives on a weekly basis. The Shabbat School helps the children grow in their relationship with Adonai.

(We have at least two adult volunteers at each service. All of the volunteers with our children are required to complete a volunteer profile form as part of a screening process.)
